Post blog comment to describe main limitations and advantages of handhelds. In particular, try to discuss their educational value and potential uses in a school library based on your perspective.



Limitations:
- The equipment is expensive.
- The screen is small, so the information can be displayed is limited.
- Besides, the screen cannot be viewed by many people at the same time(when a group of students share with 1 handheld)
- The CPU is much slower than desktop PC, thus the tasks can perform is so few.
- The storage capacity is much smaller than desktop PC / Notebook PC, the data that can be stored is much fewer.

Advantages:
- It is portable, so it can be used anywhere and anytime.
- It is multifunctional. e.g. It can perforem video confercing as it has webcam, can take photos as it has camera, or it can be a multimedia player, or it can be a e-book viewer.
- It is convinenent for data exchange because it has usually infra-red or bluetooth port.



Educational value and potential uses in a school library :
- It can be a e-book viewer.
- It can assist students in doing project. e.g. presentation, data collecting etc.
- It can assist in holding some activites which outside the Library.
